Website Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions outline the agreement between you (“the Client”) and Anna Alarie (“the Photographer”). By booking a session, you agree to the following terms.

1. Booking & Payment

  • A booking is confirmed once the agreed deposit is paid.

  • Deposits are non‑refundable.

  • Remaining balances must be paid before the session unless a written payment plan is agreed.

  • Images will only be delivered once the full balance has been paid.

2. Payment Plans

  • Payment plans may be offered at the Photographer’s discretion.

  • A minimum of 50% upfront is required.

  • Missed or late instalments may delay delivery or result in cancellation of the booking.

3. Session Details

  • The Client is responsible for arriving on time and prepared.

  • Late arrival may shorten the session.

  • The Photographer is not responsible for weather, venue restrictions, or circumstances outside their control.

4. Venue Permissions

  • The Client must ensure photography is permitted at the chosen venue.

  • If the venue restricts or refuses photography, this is outside the Photographer’s control and no refund will be issued.

  • The Photographer will follow venue rules (e.g., no flash, restricted areas), but specific shots cannot be guaranteed.

5. What’s Included

Your booking includes:

  • Photography coverage as agreed

  • Edited digital images delivered via an online gallery

  • Gallery access for 1 year

  • Delivery within the timeframe stated at booking

6. What the Photographer Does Not Guarantee

The Photographer does not guarantee:

  • Specific shots

  • Every guest or moment captured

  • RAW files

  • Body retouching unless agreed

  • Compensation for delays caused by technical issues

7. Image Delivery

  • Delivery times may vary slightly due to technical issues.

  • The Client is responsible for downloading and backing up images.

  • The Photographer is not responsible for lost images after the gallery expires.

8. Copyright & Usage

  • The Photographer retains full copyright over all images.

  • The Client receives a licence for personal use only.

  • Images may not be edited, altered, or sold without permission.

  • Images are only used for portfolio, website, or social media with the Client’s explicit consent.

9. Image Use Consent

  • During booking, the Client will be asked whether they consent to their images being used for portfolio, website, or social media.

  • Consent can be withdrawn at any time.

10. Client Conduct

  • The Photographer may stop a session if behaviour becomes unsafe or inappropriate.

  • No refund will be issued in such cases.

11. Liability

The Photographer is not liable for:

  • Injury, loss, or damage during the session

  • Missed shots due to guest interference or venue restrictions

  • Delays caused by technical issues

If images are lost or damaged, liability is limited to a refund of the session fee.

12. Force Majeure

If the Photographer cannot attend due to illness, emergency, or events outside their control, a rescheduled date or full refund will be offered.
